We camped at a state park in Montesano for two nights, taking the second day to rest our legs at a local coffee shop. Jake, the barista, made us feel welcome to stay most of the day reading, journaling, and updating our blog. That night ended well back at camp with hot cocoa and starting an ongoing game of Gin Rummy.

ReplyDeleteWe had so much fun having you, even if it was for a short while. You will have so much fun! When you are old like me you will sit around the campfire and tell the stories. Maybe you will come up with one to replace the 'Ed and the chicken' story. Love ya, Aunt Signe
ReplyDeleteNo...the Ed and chicken story will live forever, but the bee sting on one of Heidi's "girls" will probably enter infamy as well.
